The official Oscar season is now over with for the year in cinema that was 2012. I did not see every movie that was nominated for an Oscar, but I did see all nine of the best picture nominees. Were there any big surprises for you last night? Was there anyone you thought that was snubbed? Any favorite moments or speeches? Any speeches that were super awkward? Who did you think was best dressed? Feel free to sound off on all things Oscars below!

  1. Seth was great. Had no idea he could sing. Argo didn't deserve to be in the same category of Casablanca and the greats. Jennifer Lawrence wasn't the best actor. Other than that I liked all the picks. Good for Ang Lee...

    1. I will be curious to see how Argo holds up within the next couple of years. Your opinions on Argo is how I felt about The King's Speech. I do not think that should have won at all and think people will tend to forget about that movie over something like The Social Network. I love Ang, so even though Spielberg didn't win, I am happy for Ang Lee. He did a wonderful job with Life of Pi.
